This is a Spotlight on the Scriptures: Matthew 4:10 Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’”

Why is it, church, that so many of us struggle to walk this Christian Walk? Why do we stumble, fall, and live beneath our calling? May I say this with love and truth: it's because we don’t know the Word. Not like we should. Not like we must.

When Jesus was tested, He didn’t argue. He didn’t philosophize. He didn’t call a committee. He said, “It is written!” Every time—He reached for the Word.

And I came to tell somebody: the Word of God still speaks. It still heals. It still delivers. It still answers. Your problem may be deep, your pain may be real, your questions may be many—but God’s Word has a remedy tailor-made for your situation.

Now hear me: I don’t claim to know your answer. Your therapist might not know it. Your counselor might not see it. But God knows. And He wrote it down. That’s why we’ve got to stop dusting off our Bibles and start diving into them. We’ve got to know the Book better than we do—because the Book knows us better than we know ourselves.
